Course Prices
A Licences - you must be 24 years or older
If you are aged 24 or older you can take your test on a 600cc motorbike. These licences are considered to be a full motorcycle licence meaning that when you pass this course and obtain your licence you can ride any motorbike of any size and any power ratio.

A2 Licences - you must be 19 years or older
An A2 licence permits you to drive a medium sized motorcycle. A medium motorcycle is a motorcycle that has a maximum power output of 46.6 BHP or 35KW. Please note:If a restrictor kit is fitted to a machine to enable it to fall within this category then it “must not be derived from a vehicle more than twice its power”; in other words, only a vehicle of 93.2 bhp or below can be restricted to fall into the category ‘medium motorcycle’.

CBT (Compulsory Basic Training)Certificate
Before you can ride any type of motorcycle you must first pass your CBT. The training you are given ensures that you are competent to ride on the road as a learner driver whilst you prepare for your A or A2 licence. Once you have your CBT certificate you are allowed to ride a motorcycle up to 125CC as long as you have L plates clearly visible on the motorcycle.
