You do not need to re-take CBT or the Theory / Hazard Perception tests! In other words, if you gain your A1 licence at age 17, when you get to 19 you can take just the practical tests on a 'medium' bike to gain your A2 licence & if you gained your A2 licence at 19, at 21 you can take the practical tests on a 'large' bike to gain your A licence.
